JUNIOR FOOTBALL - AGES 4-13

​​​​​​​Roslyn Wakari AFC provides a fun and supportive environment for our junior players aged 4 - 13 years old. We have mixed boys & girls teams and girls only teams, as well as development teams and programs tailored to your child’s needs.

Our goal is to help young players grow so they can reach their full potential in football, at a level that suits each individual.

We do this by creating an inclusive, supportive environment where fun and enjoyment come first, encouraging a lifelong passion for the sport.

As a family-focused club, Roslyn Wakari takes pride in staying closely connected to our local community.

Players can take part in regular weekly training sessions and winter-season games, as well as join a range of after-school or holiday programmes offered throughout the year.

We warmly welcome both new and returning players.

COACHES & VOLUNTEERS

Roslyn Wakari warmly encourages parents to get involved in our junior club, especially by stepping into coaching or team management roles. You don’t need to be a football expert, what matters most is enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to support young players as they learn and grow.

Being part of a junior team gives you the chance to share in your child’s football journey, build strong connections within the community, and make a real difference in the development and enjoyment of our young players.

For parents who are new to coaching or managing, Roslyn Wakari provides as much support as possible to help you feel confident and prepared. From guidance on running training sessions to access to helpful resources, mentoring, and a friendly network of experienced volunteers, we’re here to make sure you never feel like you’re doing it alone.

Not only that — if you coach a junior team, we’ll give you a special rate for your subs! Getting involved is rewarding, fun, and a great way to contribute to the positive, family-focused environment that makes Roslyn Wakari such a special club.

PLAYING GEAR

  • 6th - 13th grade players need to purchase their own playing top (if they don't have one already).

  • Players will also need:
    • black playing shorts,
    • plain black socks,
    • shin pads,
    • boots.
