YOUTH FOOTBALL - AGES 14-18

Roslyn Wakari AFC offers a positive and engaging environment for our youth players aged 14–18, where the focus is on providing high-quality football experiences for everyone, regardless of ability or previous playing background.

We provide mixed teams, girls’ teams, and pathways that cater to both competitive players and those who simply want to stay active, have fun, and enjoy the game.

Our aim is to support youth players through this important stage of their development by creating an inclusive atmosphere that values enjoyment, teamwork, and personal growth as much as performance. Whether they are new to football or continuing their journey, we want every player to feel confident, challenged, and connected.

COACHES & VOLUNTEERS

Roslyn Wakari warmly encourages parents to get involved in our junior club, especially by stepping into coaching or team management roles. You don’t need to be a football expert, what matters most is enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to support young players as they learn and grow.

Being part of a junior team gives you the chance to share in your child’s football journey, build strong connections within the community, and make a real difference in the development and enjoyment of our young players.

For parents who are new to coaching or managing, Roslyn Wakari provides as much support as possible to help you feel confident and prepared. From guidance on running training sessions to access to helpful resources, mentoring, and a friendly network of experienced volunteers, we’re here to make sure you never feel like you’re doing it alone.

Not only that — if you coach a junior team, we’ll give you a special rate for your subs! Getting involved is rewarding, fun, and a great way to contribute to the positive, family-focused environment that makes Roslyn Wakari such a special club.

PLAYING GEAR

  • Youth teams are supplied playing tops, including goal keeping tops and gloves.

  • Players will also need:
    • black playing shorts,
    • plain black socks,
    • shin pads,
    • boots.

Official playing tops and gear can be purchased from our shop.
